So summer has been pretty cool so far. Been "layin low" with the homies, not too much going on, but that's just the way I like it.

I took my physics final last Thursday, then Friday evening I found out that I got a B in the class, so I'm super stoked about that considering that all I actually needed was a C. I guess the study group the night before really paid off for the final. All in all, a really good semester, kept my scholarship over @ woodbury, and finally got through physics I. Physics II starts in about 2 1/2 weeks. I also received an e-mail today regarding my portfolio submittal, they're going to retain it as a reference for future students so there goes that. looks like I'm going to have to reprint one for myself.

Friday evening I headed to sheen's pad for beer and ribs (good combo huh?), where I also drooled over their new PS3. Aaron came over later that evening.

Saturday afternoon, I hung out with aaron and finally saw iron man over at the new amc. We also bought an assload of books over at borders. I ran into an acquaintance who works there. Let me just say this, it's amazing how much people change after high school. This guy was an immature prick in high school, yet we engaged in one of the more meaningful and enlightening convo's I've had in a while. He's a graphic design major, who's also into photography and we talked for a good while about typography, good design books etc. He's also got discounts so SCORE. Always good to have hookups.

On Sunday, Aaron called up in the morning saying that he had an extra ticket to the padre game that afternoon that he and his brother were going to, so I went along with, and kind of gave a semi-tour of the park. What's cool about the park is that the staff aren't a bunch of assholes. I was able to stick around the concourse on the lower level and catch the views from around the park. And of course the obligatory consumption of chili cheese nachos and frozen lemonade. Good game, lots of lead changes and home runs (because that's what fans like), but we left around the 10th inning to walk through the gaslamp over to horton plaza to check out the place and walk back.

By the time I got home, it was like 6-7ish and the game was in the 18th inning and ended on a walk off 3 run shot, so a good day ended on a good note.
