OK so now that we have a snowday i think i will take this opportunity to write a full of account of the adventures that we underwent in the wonderful country that is Spain.
Ok so after a 14 hour flight all over the NOrthern Hemisphere we finally touched down in Madrid Spain! So after dropping our stuff off at the hotel we go to a square (the oldest one in Madrid)and i find a painting that was not bad looking but it the painter (whoever it was) was apparently color blind because the colors used made it look like there was a huge neon sign on the side of the building (ask anyone about my description of "neony") so ne way, we go back check into the hotel and blah blah blah... after we were all squared away in the hotel we went to the Prado Museum...which is wall to wall christian art, now usually i love art, and christian art, but after pullin an all nighter...not the first thing on my list of things to do...so after that we kinda chilled out for the whole day. So the second day, we went on a guided tour of Madrid...it was really cool and then we went to the Royal Palace of Spain...yeah they still have a monarchy! Except the King and Queen didn't live there any more it was just kinda there for special occasions for the Royal Family like grande dinners and such...so we took a tour of that... those were some of the most beautiful rooms i have ever seen, after that we went shopping in the city center... that was a ton of fun and the mark of Debbie becoming my bitch and me becoming a mute whenever i had to buy something (dont ask) so i bought a belt with a RED shamrock on it yeah RED i say that it is my irish american pride. So after that we went for a tappas evening (kind of the like a sampler dinner) and we had a marriachi band (spelling?) play for us and we gave kevin a cake and a present cuz it was his birthday. That night we had a war between the rooms (me ryan and wade vs. soleil, christel) it was sooo much fun we were calling each other with the room phones and we were leaving gross things at each others doors... fun times. SO than after that we went ot Granada - my least favorite city...but to get there we had to drive through over 150 billion olive trees (spain famous for olives) and some of the most gorgeous landscape ever! it was soo cool it was like those rodes on the sides of mountains that you see in movies and it was really steep and there were cliffs and all that good stuff and i listened to wicked...good stuff. So we arrive in Granada and the hotel was really cool at first glance the rooms were huge, we had a living room a seperate bathroom a foryer and a serperate bedroom. the hotel was called the Aparthotel (Apartment HOTEl Get it???) so we go to dinner get into a conversation about torture which leads to and hour of political conversation with Mr Neale and then we ran across the street to a convenient store and we (well Laura) got candy and then everyone played cards and i went to the lobby and Ms Muzi was there and Ms Delgado and some of the girls on the trip and they were talking about really wierd stuff...so then wade and sarah come down and we go up and we start talking about james and Sarah Gray ALMOST hugs me it was like a really touching moment you should have seen it. So we go up to me wade and ryans room which begins one of the best night ever...we are just sitting around and talking when every starts coming up ... Linds, Sarah M, Laura, Ryan and Val. So we just sitting around talking and then we decide to leave our mark in Granada and we sign the bottom of a chair. So after that were just sitting around and talking and there were like hey its 11:30 (our curfew is 11) so its like w/e we don't care all the chaperones are at the bar so then we hear a knock on the door i go to open it and we turn off the lights and everyone sings happy birtday to RYAN cuz its midnight and now its his birthday (the ppl who were at the door was everyone else on the trip) and so after that were like yay. And then Mrs Paiz and Ms Delgado knock on the door and they say happy birthday to Ryan and Ms Paiz like humps him... os she is like you guys have to go to bed and Val goes but sarah and sarah and linds and laura just kinda like sit there and shes like ok good night (she didn't even notice they were still in there!) So then were like trying to be quiet and were like yay were rebels...so then we all go into the bedroom (not to have sex but cuz its like the room thats furthest away from the hall and we shutthe door, and were just sitting there haveing a good old time and laughing when MS Delgado calls and is like are there ppl in you room and we were like yeah we just celebrating ryans birthday and she was like ok so we were like cool we have permission and so we start like getting a little crazy and i was like wicked hyper and start completely ripping ppl apart and doin impressions of them... it was a crazy night. And so finally at like quarter of three in the morning the girls go down to their room, and me and ryan and wade stay up till lik 330 taking these pictures with the camera (well pics of me and they were like really scary) so ne way the next we go to Al Ahambra which is like an islamic fortress up in the mountains it was really cool. But Christel was sick , see it turns out that the floor below us (where most ppl in our group stayed) there was like mold or something in the walls. So then ne way we just kinda hang out there for the day but it was FREEZING but then it warmed up. And so after Al Ahambra we start out for Sevilla (or Seville) it we get there and these hotels were kinda like the same idea of a sheraton the simple two or three bed per room (and this was the first place to have a room key not like a key key) and the lobby was pretty, so we have dinner and get all dressed up for Flamenco night, and we go to Flamenco night and it was really cool but it was scary when the guys danced, and one of them had their fly open but the women were soo cool cuz they wore these dresses that flowed, and i fell in love with the dancer with the yellow flower on her head... she wad GORGEOUS! We called her Mi Flore Amarilla she was soo pretty. So ne way we go back to the hotel, and we decide that we are gonna stay up late again, and so Soleil and Sarah come to me Ryan y Wade's room (which is like party central) so we send Soleil to get get everyone else and me sarah and wade are talking about scars (Ryan is talking to his parents) and then Soleil tells us how she saw a Spanish cop patrolling the hallways so we try to figure out a plan how to get them down and then we kinda give up, so tehn Soleil leaves cuz MS Muzi came down and was like you guys ahve to go, but Sarah (the acress that she is) picks up the phone and starts pretending to talk to her family it was like ballet and clockwork mixed togehter...it was beautiful! So Ms Muzi is like o so she is talking to her mother ok... and she was like take you time and she leaves and sarah stays for like another hour or so and we were making like these mad crazy cool videos with wades carmera and then sarah left and then we had like a satanic encounter, there was a pic of me and it started doing wierd things that we didn't record it was soo scary it looked like i was possessed. So then we go to bed and then we wake up and go for a tour or Seville, and the Jewish quarter it was really pretty, and we went into teh Catedral de Sevilla whcih is the third biggest cathedral in the world. And it is beautiful and then we go to the Bell tower and it is sooo gorgeous, so we go to lunch and walk through the city and blah blah blah and then Wade and Sarah get sick and by this time like everyone had been sick (except for me and sarah m and val) and we get into the bus again for the ride to Costa Del Sol, we arrive in Costa del Sol and we stay in a hotel that is really nice. So we don't really do ne thing we go to dinner and then go for a walk down this street that is like a shoppin center, and its like yay, but everything is closed so we just get icecream, and blah and we go back and we have an early night, the next day we get up and we go to a Picasso museum and twe decide to just spend the day in a place called Malaga (which is also in Costa del Sol, Costa del Sol is a region, the coast of teh Meddeterannean, and we stayed in the city of Torremolinos, Malaga was like cultural richer than Torremolinos) so we spend the day there, and we come home and we kinda have like a party in my room that night but we kinda fall asleep so its not that fun. The next day is our last and we go to Ronda and Mija (Spelling?) which is cool and i finish my shopping and then we kinda just hang out and we were gonna go to a bar but we don't cuz they were like no ones leaving tonight and all the chaperones were guarding the doors so we stay in and we just hang out in Laura, Laurens, and Christels room listening to music and we put stuff on ryans bed like a toilet brush to name one... so then we just kinda go home the next day, and i get deathly ill on the plane ride home and then feel better. So no im done
