And HOW did the train graveyard not get flattened when the plate came down?!?

Edit: Possible DoC spoilers in the comments. Read at your own risk.

That would be the 250,000 gil question.

... My guess is that it was far enough away from the 'main' area.

... but still.

the plate is in pizza-sized chunks. there's no way in hell that the pillar support being THAT CLOSE to the graveyard and corneo's mansion being just adjacent that it didn't get crushed. you can even see the fucking ripped edges when you aim up.

just another squeenix plothole.

This is quite true (I had to pause the game and gibber at it many times for random wtf?) - just pondering on THEIR logic - the whole place seems larger than what was shown before.
On that thread - quite a bit of the plate came down after Meteor anyway - a lot of things that shouldn't be there still are.
I call Divine Intervention.
Though ... If Squeenix keeps this up, the FFVII-verse is going to turn into a black plot hole.

I offer my strategy for DoC Plot-Holes:
Vincent's ass+leather=*distraction*

In spite of them talking about reaching the "upper plate", you don't see evidence that much of said upper plate still exsists except for the Tower (and although it's in better shape than it should have been, it's still pretty bad). The plate you see when you head into Deepground is what was built over one of the towns that Shinra built Midgar over--it's actually the slums above your head, not the upper plate ( ... )

that would work if i didn't think he was hotter at a turk. i had too much fun going back and playing the tutorial.

vincent's ass is scrawny as all hell. i prefer cushion for the pushin. that thing would bruise me to tap.
