It's a beautiful day outside! The sunlight streaming through the trees...it looks all golden. The cherry tree outside the window is losing the petals from its blossoms, so there's a snowy fall every time the wind blows. I like New York! ^^
Life in general is good. I put in my two weeks notice to work. Yes, after nine months I'm leaving the hotel. When you have a manager who repeatedly comes in late, gossips about the guests to other guests.... while using their names.... and then decides that it was the guests fault... yeah, I'm not too happy there. I'm looking for another job, but not too frantically. Ed's working as a vacuum salesman.. (sounds so cliche, ne?) but it brings in a good deal of money. Other than that, we're both recuperating from bad sunburns we got watching my mother's outdoor graduation.
I'm loving the sounds of the birds outside my window. Watching the branches of our trees sway in the breeze... when it's quiet, I can hear the sound of the creek across the street. I wish life had more days like this. Unfortunately, I have to work tonight...bleh. Oh well, only a couple weeks left. I hope everyone's having a great day!
