The Netherworld
All other locations detailed in these notes are a subset of the Netherworld itself (with a few possible exceptions). It is a vast and complex world, with extremely varied environments, wildlife, and inhabitants.
Despite the presence of an Overlord, there seems to be very little in the way of actual government organization or loyalty. The general rule of thumb seems to be "survival of the fittest," with weaker demons serving as servants to stronger ones. Fortunately, this hierarchy seems to have little impact on us outsiders, who are left to do as we please.
