The Readercon concom (minus the board, which resigned en masse yesterday) has made a public statement, and it's pretty much everything it needs to be.

I'll definitely be there next year.

I didn't go to Readercon this year; it was the weekend Jay had scheduled a winery trip to the Finger Lakes with his Homebrewing buddies, and besides I was already scheduled to go to Console-ing Passions the next weekend (which I enjoyed much more than last year's Readercon anyway, tbh, but then, I'm generally more comfortable in an academic setting ( Read more... )

Sorry these are taking me so long. I've got a diss chapter/exam paper draft due Thursday and have just been putting my head down and writing. So, I basically just cleaned up my notes on this one and went ahead and posted it. So Readercon is coming up, and I'm thinking about going. It's in my neck of the woods, it's my kind of con, and it's becoming increasingly clear that one of my areas is rapidly turning SF-centric. So.

Anyone else planning on going? Interested in sharing a room? Live close enough to Burlington (MA) to let me crash? Hmm.
