anyone read the front page?

grab a daily press and read the artical about increased foreign control of our economy and PUBLICLY TRADED FEDERAL DEBT. that makes you feel all warm and gooey inside let me tell you. none of it really angered me until the very end where they laid out what seem to be the major contributing problems to our debt and money woes. and then they go on to explain in a single paragraph how they can't be hasty in remedying them lest upheaval ensue. now, i'm not a fan of upheaval. the economy collapsing under its own weight would truly suck for me right now. but then again, its collapse 10 years from now would suck just as badly. or twenty years from now. thirty. forty. fifty. are we getting the picture? if we can't be "hasty" to fix the problems, can we at least speed the process up by a factor of decades?

question of the year from anthony (please reply if you can): can america handle its entire politico-economic structure being rennovated to address foreign investment in:
national security sensitive areas
massive defecits in dollars
skyrocketing unemployment rates in the manufacturing, non-technical, non-retail, under 30 job market
in a 4 year presidential term without significant disruption to the quality of life of the average american? 8 years? 12 years of the senate?
