Midsummer's Eve went quite well, and to my surprise the weather was quite good. Quite a few people showed up at our summer cottage during Midsummer's Eve and Midsummer Day celebrations, including a few people outside our immediate family (and not surprisingly bro had something to do with it =P). I just watched how a lot of people were having a good time in Helsinki. According to my sister, who lives quite a long way from the spot where the celebration was taking place, the noise of thousands of people, special effects etc. could be heard even where she was living.
