The second set of curls didn't come out as well as the first. So for $7.99 another bang clip in will be here tomorrow. It's largely in part because I used more of the slightly too big rollers because I was sitting on two of the smaller ones. Typical. Anyway, the curls aren't so bad I couldn't use them, but I'd like to try for better!

I sewed three bows on the trip. I just sewed most of the hooks and eyes on the white bodice. I need to sew the neckband and waistband before I can sew the rest. I also curled one of the clip in bangs hairpiece. I was totally overwhelmed by cheerleader hairpieces and saw Christina curled her own. I'm about to set the second one. I can do this!!!

I finally bought a wig head and stand today. I want to make an 18c wig to go with the country cousin dress and thin the Melisandre wig. I bought thinning scissors too.

But with the 18c wig I'm hoping to overcome some of my mental block with hair...

But I want a 1790s wig for my new Jane Austen Festival dress. Because nothing says Kentucky in July like a thick plastic hat. Basically a smaller of what I just did, so within my skill range.
