My computer now has a medieval cat skin. Very adorable! It's custom and I bought it for the 2017 version of my computer. It didn't fit. Oops. I tried to find out what year my computer was, but obviously failed. However, it was just a little big, so I trimmed it. Thankfully the touchpad was the same size. That would've been annoying.

I'm typing from my new computer. I did a sample Google Meet, and the sound worked, so mission accomplished?

Except, I'm such a dork. I didn't even think to look at the hard drive size. I just assumed that it'd be bigger than my 7? 6? year old computer. It's 1/4 the size. My pictures so don't fit on it!

So, I recently discovered the internal microphone on my Chromebook doesn't work well for video conferencing. It seemed to work fine with earbuds, but didn't work with the external mic I bought. And today when I was trying something, it barely worked with the earbud microphone. Sigh.

The picture backup didn't go completely as planned, but at least I do have a local, but not on the computer backup. My camera card was a little wonky after Costume College. All the pictures were fine, but it made me remember it's probably been years since I've done a back up. I'm typing this from my replacement Chromebook. The trackpad stopped working on the first. Ok, I never use the trackpad despite every computer I've ever owned being a laptop, but it's the principle of the thing!

Anyway, I'm going to post again today about the really nifty 30s pincurler I just got! Woo! Something interesting!

Despite having a smartphone since the Droid with the slide out keyboard in 2010 and an iPod touch in 2007, I've never fully warmed to writing loads on a not regular keyboard.
