Yay! Loot!
My 1855 Godey's came today (and I like a braiding pattern!) as did the pattern and supplies for my 1850s bonnet. Well, the supplies I ordered with the pattern :)
I've also decided I am doing a V neck on the green dress. And a chemisette with tucks down the front and an embroidered collar. Possibly a basque waist. If I do that, I'll put braiding around that and none on the skirt. I'm not sure yet, but I do have time to decide.
The Swiss muslin for the shawl came yesterday too. It's pretty. And I should have plenty leftover for the chemisette. The shawl is going to be a triangle with tucks on the straight edges and a flounce.
Three months is plenty of time :)
