So, when you have a deadline, flat tire, and get home late, what do you do? Make macarons with salted caramel sauce. That's what!
It's weird, I hate baking but got the urge to make these. One scale, almond flour and a pastry bag later, we have these adorable things!
The first one I tasted was pretty good too! A tiny bit crunchier than I'd like, but apparently sitting overnight with the caramel will affect the texture. Still, yummy and a good first attempt!
