I decided to sell a few of my costume books. I have too many (Is that possible? Well, yes, actually!)
I'm selling for less than other copies on the internet, but not super deals. I'm not as motivated as many of you who have sales--I just listed them on half.com.
Anyway, they are as follows:
Dressing a Galaxy (The Deluxe! Only $175! Yeah, that's high, but it's like half of what others are selling it for. I haven't looked at it in years and it's SO BIG! OK, that doesn't make it look like a tempting thing, but it's really a super gorgeous book).
Dangerous Liasions, Fashion and Furniture in the 18th century. $55. Pending! Let's see if it fits in an envelope :)
Dress at the Court of King Henry VIII $85
The Culture of Clothing: Dress and Fashion in the Ancien Regime' $30 Sold!
Dress in France in the Eighteenth Century $50
They're avalilable from half.com here.
I'm currently going through an I have too much stuff phase. I really think I need to look at getting rid of some fabric too. The books I picked are random ones I haven't looked at in years that sell for an amount I wouldn't mind going to the post office for. I had to take off the expedited shipping though. I'm afraid Dressing a Galaxy will be a fortune on media mail, and half.com doesn't let you set shipping prices, so yeah, $5.99 or whatever wouldn't cut it :)
