The recent realization that, two years into grad school, I'm a job snob: if I see a job posting that doesn't offer what I think I'm worth, it's not worth my time time looking at it.
No, I have no graduate degree; but when you're offering a full-time teaching job at a private "academy" and your pay range starts at $25k a year, steam comes out my ears. You've got to be kidding me! Teaching is a lot of work, and I can't even fathom teaching for 7 to 9 hours a day.
(Of course, it doesn't help that I'm browsing craigslist jobs just for fun...)
