KAPPA's 4 LIFE
OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG...okay, let me take a DEEP breath and start from the beginning...Well, you know how I told you I was being COR'ed by Kappa Kappa Gamma...okay, so there was a formal chapter meeting, and I was warned, that they might not vote on COR's last night, so I was wigging out...there was a VERY distinct possibility, that I might or might NOT get the call, but anyways, so yeah, I called my mom all depressed last night like a quarter to 10, just to talk, since I hadn't heard from the Kappa's, so when I get off with her, I start getting ready for bed, and then my phone rings...I just sit on my bed and stare at it for a good minute, and then I like come to my senses and answer, and this was the conversation...C is for Caller, and N is for me:
N: Hello?
C: Hi, may I please speak with Niki?
N: This is she, who's this?
C: My name is Rachel, I'm calling on behalf of the Epsilon Zeta Chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma. We've taken a confidential vote at our Formal Chapter meeting, and we would like to extend you a bid to join Kappa. (*Niki falls off bed*) Would you like to accept our bid. (wording may be extravagent, but it went something like that :P)
N: YES!!!
C: You accept?
N: I accept.
C: Good, welcome to Kappa, I need you to stop by the house to fill out some paperwork within the next 24 hours. A C.O.B. is needed......
and the rest of the conversation was technical stuff...but I was SO stoked...after I got off the phone, I just sat on the floor, and was like...I'm a Kappa...so finally I start acting like a human again, and call my mom and dad, they are all happy for me, and as I'm running out of my room with my mom on the phone to find Havely, she's running INTO my room with HER mom on the phone, and we just start hugging each other, and we are both like we'll call you later, hang up on our moms and start hugging and jumping around...it was awesome...I called and told all my friends, and it just ROCKED...okay...so now you know...
