Hi there...
I don't normally believe in low-fat cheese, seeing as ... well, what's the point? But I'm doing South Beach right now to get my blood sugar and cravings under control, and it recommends low-fat dairy products. Unfortunately, low-fat kosher cheese doesn't seem to exist. Or does it?
Has anyone ever seen such a thing in a store... anywhere? Almost any heksher would be acceptable.
Thanks.
EDITED to add: And by "low-fat" I suppose I really mean "reduced fat"... Beggars can't be chosers.
EDITED again to add: Well, once I figured out how to search for it correctly I did find quite a few - No cheddar, sadly, but a few others that look potentially edible:
I was searching online and came across the following reduced-fat kosher cheeses, which I'll keep my eye out for next time I'm in Monsey. By e-mailing it to you I have it saved in my outbox for my own future reference, too.
