I am making 10 resolutions. Should I make them broad, so that I can adapt them to multiple situations and goals, or should I make them specific, and really focus on individual things?

I have a tradition of making New Years Resolutions. I've always made organized, detailed lists of ones. (See 2005 and 2006) And then in 2007, I didn't make any resolutions. Well, I was going to. It's like close enough to halfway through the year, and now seems like a rather appropriate point to stop and think about how I've done with my goals.
