Do the 90's really deserve a VH1 "I Love the 90's" retro pop culture show? Not sure, but funny nonetheless.
The get together at my place ended up being pretty swank. As usual, we were pretty tame... Scattergories and Cranium were a friggin' blast! I'm still not sure how Matt and I managed to win both. Flukes, pretty much like SceneIt! on Thanksgiving! :)
After the boardgames, I found there were no DVD's that sparked interest. The others watched Office Space (a classic, but I see it every second day on Comedy Central) while Mitch and I geeked it up with Gran Turismo 4 and Lego Star Wars. Gran Turismo 4... it's just so... wow. So good.
My sister and I brought the couches clogging up our basement to Dieppe. I got to see Sara, which is always a treat! I am still not a kid person, but it certainly is different when it one of your own. I had her in my arms, and she was looking at me straight in my face, studying me.
I don't go there often enough, and she never seems sure whether or not she can trust me. That being said, she looks at me as if suspecting me of something all the time. hehe Definitely cute as hell, though.
A little geekiness... like when Attack of the Clones came out, my journal was just bound up with Star Wars talk. I'm doing alot better this time around. lol
It'll be out of my system after the 19th, trust me.
I bought the Revenge of the Sith video game, and I am considering it a test of my willpower. hehe
I am not touching it, no matter how badly I want to see footage of the movie (which is included in bunches in the game).
I can't wait to play it.
The race on Saturday was pretty good. Greg Biffle won on a green-white-checkered finish, one that had people on old and new tires. It could have been alot more exciting, but it wasn't bad.
Kurt Busch just plain wrecked himself on lap 1, hit a NASCAR official with a water bottle and screamed things over the radio that were "not befitting of a NASCAR champion". That is why I've always rooted for Jeff Gordon - a champion on the track and off... though I cheered for Gordon long before he was a champion. :)
