I went to see Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy with Al and Matt the other night. The movie was OK, I suppose, as it had a few funny moments. I'm not quite sure how the book is, but the movie just tried too many whacky gags and was all over the board in terms of story.
Funny story; I come home and Dumb and Dumber is on TBS. This movie doesn't take a member of Mensa to understand plot... I laughed my ass off all night, and I've already seen that movie countless times.

While we're on the topic of simple-minded movies, I got the Revenge of the Sith soundtrack that came out today. Wicked, for sure... it doesn't really have any similarities to the other soundtracks of the series, but it feels more depressing, espescially when the older themes like Luke's and Leia's themes are used.
The DVD that comes with it isn't too bad, I suppose. The "Battle of the Heroes" video (à la "Duel of the Fates" and "Across the Stars") is pretty friggin' sweet, what with footage of Episode III and all. hehe
Gotta love the prequels................. or not. Whatever suits you. *winks*
