T and I went back through the puppy photos from way back to try and identify Butter in the crowd. I think I've positively ID'd her in two of them. One is a close-up that I'm practically certain is her (the facial expression gives it away). The other has a puppy on her side, with a big puppy belly and its ear flipped back. She's always in that pose. Maybe it's not her, but I've always loved the teddy bear puppy in that photo, and as far as I'm concerned, it's her.
Boodoo, the once, current, and forever #1 pet, killed a mouse yesterday. We went downstairs to watch a movie and I saw what at first looked like kitty vomit on the rug. A closer look revealed various pieces and parts of a mouse. The head was long gone. I swear that Boodoo was saying, "Let's see the puppy do THAT!" He's a good boy.
Yesterday was an odd day for Butter. She suddenly didn't want to go on any walks, and seemed afraid to go to the backyard. She also had three accidents, and wasn't good at obeying any of the commands she's been good with before. Just one of those days, I guess. Today she was back to normal -- happy to go for a walk, anxious to play in the yard, and ringing the bell and doing her business on command. Hopefully, yesterday was an anomaly.
