Rant!
I dont understand why some front desk staff trust reward members. If they are paying with there points then you have to treat them like a cash paying guest because its already prepaid and we have to have ways to cover if they purchase movies or market items. We just lost another fifty bucks for not simply asking for a valid cc.
Another annoying thing is when we have a shitload of checkouts and everyone wants a latecheckout So this past sunday I was only allowing reward members late checkouts because they like to throw there status around like they arrived in a limo or somethin. So this one lady calls and wants a latecheckout I tell her Im sorry I cannot accept anymore today (the truth) the checkout time is noon. So I make sure that someone goes to the room and sees if she is in the room. She had deadbolted the door and refused to answer. I guess because she was a bitch at checkin and housekeeping had a lot of rooms I wanted her out lol. So I called the room and she answers suprisingly I kinda threatened a charge for not vacating. She was out in ten and her deposit was released to her in 20. I wasnt in the mood.
