(There is a lot of commotion heard in the background. Persephone has discovered Central Park. Thinking she'd be clever, she decided to make her post from the park to give off the illusion that she is totally not hiding right under everyones nose. Sometimes she's smart like that. Her teeth chatter throughout the post, as it is October and such. Persephone doesn't dress for fall or winter and she's thin skinned. Coats hide her dresses though.)
Everything is dying! I don't understand! Why are all the trees looking so sad? Where have the flowers gone? Why don't they respond to me? WHAT IS GOING ON?!
(She sniffles. It's pretty obvious it's tears. She's frustrated and rather confused. Fall has not been an easy discovery for her.)
Why won't this work like it's suppose to? Why are the nymphs letting their trees die? They aren't suppose to do that! Is this your fault daddy!? Are you doing this because you're mad at me?! Well it's not funny, daddy! Stop it right now! Make everything better! Make everything happy and alive again!
(She's sobbing quite pathetically now. Naturally, though, a pretty girl sobbing alone in the middle of a busy park won't be left to her own devices for long, and a masculine voice is heard muffled in the background.)
I gotta go now.
