Teaching can be a hassle if you start off on the wrong foot with a class. I swear I was just starting to get good at it. I think about going back sometimes, but I think I need to do corporate work in the states for a while to beef up the resume.

Little kids are easy to teach. Anything you do entertains them and keeps them interested. I had to teach middle school kids too and almost nothing entertains them because they're in that stage of pretending to be too cool to enjoy anything.
Older kids basically had three modes:

Asleep - They didn't want to do anything and no game I could come up with was good enough for them. Plus, the curriculum was more rigid and pretty boring in and of itself.

Wild - The classes for middle schoolers and 6th graders was at the end of the day, so it's probably their last hagwon before going home. So they are wound up, restless, and spend a lot of time screwing around and trying to lead me off on tangents.

Good - There were good students that realized I was trying to help them learn and was trying to make it as interesting as possible.
