It's already the start of a new month...Three weeks have gone by since I've been in Korea!
This past week the three musketeers (ABC - Annie, Brian, Cathy) went shopping at Namdaemun with Jeff, went shopping at Dongdaemun with Rebecca, attempted to pull an all-nighter in the streets of City Hall (but we slept for 2 hours or so and slept on chairs at a Cafe), explored Duksoo Palace, saw the Royal Guard change processions, got to wear traditional Korean clothes, randomly ran into Suhgoo and Thomas from UofC on the streets of Kangnam, tried eating lots of new/different things, went to TechnoMart, continued taking those hard-core dance classes, and... well spent a lot of hours at work teaching students and preparing for classes.
Today we were at Lotte World from 10:30am-10:30pm... I was mighty impressed with my ability to play for that long! Lotte World is one of the world's largest indoor theme parks. We went on almost every ride, ate lots of junk food, and wasted lots of money on carnival/arcade games. :) For tomorrow the plan is to go to Sarang Church and then go to Insadong (a traditional Korean place, I guess?) to explore with some fellow teachers.
I had a dream last night where I got mad at my students and yelled at them... Teaching is definitely taking over my life since it's gotten to the point where I'm dREAMING about my classes.. -.-
