Fall Formal!!
Lots of historical things have happened since two weeks ago - the last time I updated...
1. Graham House lost to Woodward House in IM Volleyball (this means that we suck hard.) Woodward hasn't won a single volleyball game in the past three years! My-oh-my they celebrated hard core banging drums down our hallway and throwing confetti at our door.
2. "Dis-one-chick" finally got a facebook account! (I kind of forced him into it, but it's all good... it was bound to happen anyway!)
3. Simon made dinner for me and Tiff! Yummy pasta... he's cooking for us again tomorrow night! Totally awesome.
4. Fall Formal finally happened last night! It was quite a success... everyone said they enjoyed it - the food was AMAZING, the dj was great, the dance floor was always packed, the room we held it in was absolutely gorgeous with palm trees, fountains of water, the lit-up 15-story ferris wheel in the back, lights dangling from the high ceiling... I had a crazy journey last night when I went to pick up the helium tank with Shewanna -- we had to drive all the way up near O'Hare which took us an hour thanks to traffic... got lost, and the owner of the party store said he'd leave it behind the garage building in the back of the building since he had to go home (it was already like 600pm) so we drove down this dark alley behind the building and found the helium tank lying there outside way in the corner... pretty scary and sketchy stuff. Either way, we made it back in time to Navy Pier to finish our balloon columns and centerpieces! Huzzah! Zarah, Candace, and I changed into our dresses and got ready in the bathroom at Crystal Gardens in 15 minutes... not bad, eh? :p
Today I went to work, organized the UPA Pool Tournament at the Uncle for like four hours - man these guys are AWESOME at pool! then had dinner in the House Lounge (we ordered food for 30 people from the Nile), and the plan was to go watch 40 year old virgin at Doc, but I fell asleep and somehow managed to pass out and take a three hour nap! I was quite tired...
