(no subject)
Today I was enlightened. I had the best experience I have ever had with a high school counselor. I had to get a block of time for an ISU calculus class. Previously, my schedule was:
1. AP Physics Lab
2. AP Physics
3. Free
4. AP Western Civ
5. Band
6. Honors American Lit (Webb)
7. Free
8. Spanish 3
Since I had no block of space, I first thought of moving my HAL class to 7th with Goodwin. But then I got to thinking. Maybe I could move to first period Webb, 2nd period Western Civ, and 3-4 AP Physics, keeping all the same teachers and creating an open block of time. I went into Mrs. Diblasi, told her my request, and within 30 seconds I inverted my schedule. It was the fastest I've ever seen a counselor do anything ever. I'm still in shock at my new schedule 2nd semester:
1. Honors American Lit (webb)
2. AP Western Civ (Daddow)
3. AP Physics
4. AP Physics Lab
5. Band
6. Free
7. Free
8. Spanish 3
I'm quite happy at the new schedule change, too. This means I get new people in my classes and don't loose touch with people that weren't in my classes first semester. What a lucky day for me.
