Thank you for interrupting my personal meltdown and uncontrollable rage with this entry. I desperately needed a laugh break!

If you want to try a pukey disgusting soft drink, try Irn Bru. It's the most popular one in Scotland (outsells Coke!)--radioactive orange...tastes terrible....supposedly cures a hangover...blech! Available in the US to serve the large ex-pat market.

OK, back to self abuse...man, I just ranted 8 paragraphs in a (distant)friend's LJ....gonna be a long day.

Even though I find it hard to believe that anyone is amused by the filth I write, I’ll graciously accept your gratitude for providing a laugh.

Irn Bru sounds dreadful. However, I’m the type of person that needs to try it out before I completely stand by my impression. I’d probably end up watering it down with a fifth of rum to mask the nasty taste. God forbid I wind up having sex and get charged for rape. Uh-oh!

Millions of Scots love the taste of this drink. Of course, millions of Scots also are obese, have bad skin and teeth and generally don't display good taste. But they DO know about heavy drinking--and their recommendations for hangover cures should be given serious consideration. So yeah, try it. Given the claims of its curative powers though, I'd suggest you drink the 5th of rum the night before. Then let your taste buds experience the flavor of Irn Bru au natural. Mmmmm....NOT.

I purposefully wrote a long avant-garde post to reflect the growing chaos of…well, I forgot. In any event, I doubt Ritalin would even help ME read all this crap. You’re better off finding some orange peel, coating it with toothpaste, then eating it after it’s been fermented. Besides the hallucinogenic properties, it ensures you’ll have a smile on your face while reading.
