There is something phenomenally wrong with the notion of good deeds not exisiting. When did helping someone out become a crime? This concept was first brought to me by a "Friends" episode I saw ages ago, when the character Pheobe realized the same concept. What the hell am I talking about, you wonder? Whether you are donating to charity, helping someone next to you spell a word, or walking someone elses grandma across the street, your conscience is pleased. You smile, because you made someone elses day brighter. You are gaining happiness. This act was not selfless. Is there nothing nice you can willingly do without pleasing yourself?
