Haz a puppy
If you've been looking at my twitter, you've seen all the puppy pictures. I'm too tired to crosspost them right now. Let's just say that she is an adorable little wild-type dog that looks like a Carolina Dog. Her name is Kimiko. juushinkan thought Ponyo was a good name (red, comes from over the sea, etc.) and I wanted something Egyptian so I proposed Panya (little mouse) but that fell flat. Juu started looking up other possible names, and while considering Moro no Kimi (from Mononoke no Hime) we tried to figure out a derivative of that... somewhere along the way trying to find out what Kimi meant, we stumbled across the name Kimiko. So her name is Kimi.
She's smart and sweet. And possibly bomb-proof. She does not give a single fuck about being in a car. Or loud noises. Or ladydragon76's kids playing with her (thank god for that, they tire her out so fast). She has caught on very quick to being housetrained, minus a few accidents. Her tiny bladder isn't strong enough yet.
Unfortunately, she has (had?) worms. The rescue supposedly gave her a dewormer, but it seems to have only kicked in today. There was a dead tick still attached to her that we removed with tweezers.
Otherwise, she's fine. A wiggly puppy. Adorable. Gonna be spoiled as soon as we get her home.
For now, we're just sitting in ladydragon76's living room, writing fic, watching movie trailers, and herpderping around. It's great.
