Logging it - Tsunade-sama and Hinata have a meeting. No warnings.

After getting the message from Tsunade-sama, Hinata made her way to the Nurses' office as she wondered what the Nurse would want to talk to her about. She had a vague idea that it was because of all the time she had been spending with Kabuto-sensei lately, but Hinata was used to the other teachers telling her he was trouble. Still, she never went to see him alone, and all he did was encourage her musical ability. Sighing softly, she knocked on the door, hoping that this talk wasn't too long or difficult, as she wanted to practice more so Kabuto-sensei would be extra-pleased with her.

Tsunade head rose when she heard the office door opened. A light smile appeared upon her red lips as she stood up.

"I'm glad that you can make it, Hinata," she greeted, closing the door behind the girl, "Sit down, dear. We have important things to discuss about it. I'll try to make this short as possible. Also, would you like some tea?"

Hinata smiled reflexively, nodding at the offer for tea as she walked over and took a seat.

"Um, tea would be lovely. I was kind of surprised that you wanted to see me, is everything okay?" She thought about her last medical exam and wondered if perhaps her family doctor had called the nurse about her asthma. "I haven't had any asthma attacks or anything..."

"Oh no. You were perfectly fine. It has nothing to do with that, so you needn't worry about that, dear," she replied as she poured hot tea into one ceramic cup as well as refilling her own. Setting the tea kettle down, she picked up the two cups, the steam both visible and rising upwards. She gave one to Hinata before sitting down in her chair herself. She took a sip of her drink, before continuing, "I wanted to talk to you on far more bigger matters."

Taking a moment to sip her tea, Hinata nodded, feeling slightly better. "Oh, um, well then what is it?" She put down her tea cup, looking over at Tsunade with worry still visible in her eyes. "Did I do something wrong, Tsunade-sama?"

"No, you haven't." she said reassuring her, as she shook her head, "I was wondering if you heard of the name Orochimaru, by any chance? Possibly in rumors? He has been the talk of the student body and staff for the past few months."

Eyes widening, Hinata tried to hide the fact that she was shaken by hearing that name. "Um...I heard that he was the person who took baby Sakumo, and um...I heard a few other things about him too." Hinata thought about what Neji had told her about Orochimaru attacking him, and how Gaara's father had been doing business with the man. She also know that he was a former rival of her fathers, but didn't know how much she should tell Tsunade-sama. "Also, um...he once owned the business that my father and Sasuke-kun's father now own..." She figured that was safe enough to say.

"Hmm, seems you are rather informed about some of the things," Raising a curious eyebrow, she asked, "And how did Uchiha Fugaku and your father get his business?"

Blushing brightly, Hinata began poking her index fingers together. "Um, Itachi-san told me that they bought it out from under him, and my father confirmed it. I guess, um, that Sasuke-kun and I are supposed to be inheriting the business eventually, so my father told me about that situation after nii-san got hurt." She took another sip of her tea, knowing that she probably did say too much. Still, as long as she didn't mention Sasuke-kun's weird bite, everything would be fine. Hinata knew not to break her promise of confidence to Sasuke.

"Ah, I see," she took another sip, calmly, "Orochimaru is a very dangerous man, Hinata. He did kidnap Sakumo because I chased after him. He did hurt your cousin as well as caused Tenten to wind up in the hospital. And there is no doubt in my mind that he is connected to Gaara's father's death. But that just covers the tip of the iceberg."

Looking up quickly, Hinata couldn't hide her nervousness. "Um, I know he hurt Neji-nii-san, but what does this have to do with me?" The confusion in her voice was real, as Hinata was not very good at lying. She was watching Tsunade, genuinely worried that the woman already knew Sasuke's secret.

It was easy for Tsunade to read her face and the emotion in her voice. Setting the ceramic cup down on her desk, before speaking once again, "I believe that Orochimaru has contact with Sasuke. Possibly more than one time."

If Hinata's eyes widened any further, they just might pop out of her head. "W..what do you mean? Why would you think that?" She couldn't help but wonder what Sasuke could have done to give anybody that impression, considering that she had no idea until he had told her.

"Because Sasuke is an Uchiha, my dear. He's one of Orochimaru's target. And Orochimaru seems to want Sasuke for something. I have a few possibilities on what, but still no confirmation on anything specific," Tsunade explained, "I can see through Sasuke's lies when I asked him. And I believe that...he is also going after you as well."

Already knowing that Sasuke had been in contact with Orochimaru made it slightly easier for Hinata to stop herself from appearing startled until Tsunade mentioned thinking that Orochimaru was also interested in her. That caused her to nearly drop her tea cup in shock. "B...but why would he be after me? I...I'm nothing, not as smart as nii-san, not as social as Hanabi..."

"I'm sorry to say that I'm not sure exactly, myself. But it's for something important, that much I know."

Swallowing uneasily, Hinata couldn't see anything in Tsunade's face that said the woman was being anything less than honest. "I..I don't understand. I mean, I can see why he'd want Sasuke-kun, especially since he is an Uchiha, but why would Orochimaru hurt Neji-san but want me? This is very confusing."

"I know, Hinata. I know," she nodded, "I'm assuming that man is focusing on some of the *bigger* families of this school, if you know what I mean. Uchiha. Hyuuga. Believe what you want though, Hinata. The reason I'm telling you this, because I thought you had a right to know. For your own safety and those around you."

"Oh...okay. Um, but what can I do? He..he hurt nii-san, and what if he hurts my father, or Hanabi...?" Hinata was rather scared, even though she knew that Orochimaru hadn't hurt Sasuke at all, there was still no guarantee that he wouldn't hurt him one day. "Thank you for telling me..."

"Then you do whatever you can to get those you care for help. I would like you to report to me if anything happens too. But this is your choice in the matter. And your welcome," she smiled very lightly before putting on a stern expression, "Remember. The choices you make today can effect you tomorrow. Do you understand?"

Hinata nodded quickly, thinking of how badly she needed to talk to Sasuke. "I understand Tsunade-sama. Um, I will let you know if anything happens." She put down her now empty tea cup and picked up her bag, smiling slightly. "I will make sure to keep on extra alert, too."

"Mmm, thank you for being understanding, Hinata," she smiled, "I'll see you later then."

Tsunade then turned around in her seat. Before Hinata could leave, she whispered once last, "Be careful. Especially around Kabuto."

Hinata paused, wondering if she had really heard Tsunade say something about Kabuto. Shaking her head, she blinked before walking out to head back to her dorm.
