The Unfinished Novel and The Hot Iron

Bleh...well, I'll tell the one which came first, first. Now, I was reading my novel again, and there, I needed to iron one of my phants. When I was nicely ironing it, BAH! It happened so fast; my thumb touched the side of the hot iron...after 2-3 seconds, it became numb. At first, I thought if it's going to stay numb the whole time, I must as well leave it, but I had a conscience which was telling me that I had to tell this to my parents(that inner-conscience might be the Holy Spirit leh. :D). My mom asked me to apply some medicine, and with the help of my dad to find it, I applied it on the numb area. As I went back to ironing, wahhhh, I could feel that part stinging. Good thing I applied something. It stung for quite a while, on-off, on-off. >.> . Well, now it isn't as bad. Thank God I didn't burn my whole thumb or had the whole iron fall on my foot or something, lol.

Ok, enough of that. After ironing, I went back to reading my nice novel. It's about to end. :D. But, well...there's this charming guy who I think will be the hero, kinda obvious already, and he was charming and all, UNTIL, HE LIT A CIGAR! *A* . BLEH! But, owh well, I'll shake this off, because, there's already some mention of sleeping with not-even-bf in this novel. Let all of them pass me and just enjoy the other stuff. So, well, I am here now rather than enjoying my book when there's maybe...2 chapters left or so? Because I will savour it before I sleep. Good idea eh. :D. lol
