I was trying to wait until I had all of my holiday journal typed up before I posted again, but it's taking forever so I'm breaking that rule. With any luck I'll have it done in the next few days. I'm trying to sort out my 900+ photos as well - don't worry, you'll get the highlights reel rather than the mountainous pile of piccies - and that's taking longer than I thought it would too. I fail. XD
Once again my flist has proven themselves to be utter sweethearts and darlings they are, by being amazingly understanding about my flitting on and off LJ. You mean so much to me guys. Thanks again for putting up with me. =]
I've decided I'm definately quitting economics. I'm going to start a new degree next year, studying Art History. I love art, and I've always wanted to be involved in it as a career, but my parents vetoed the idea saying that I'd better go for Law or Economics. But I've decided that from here on I'll make my own choices and my own mistakes, so I'm going to go for it. I'm looking into different courses, and volunteering or working at a gallery on a weekend (I'm looking for a job during the week, still), and at what I can do and when I can go afterwards. I think I'll be very happy doing this. I think. I hope. =]
I'm having a major spaz about the new BLOOD: The Last Vampire live action film. I want to see it. NAO. Then again. LATER. ...And again and again and again. I love the anime. And BLOOD+ was epic. Ohh... Now all I have to do is convince someone to go with me...
My sister has finally admitted that she likes manga. She acted like she expected it to be a massive shock... I've known for years. She used to taunt and tease me about how much of a geek and a freak I was, while stealing my manga and reading it 10 minutes later. Seriously, it drove me MAD. It was hilarious on the odd occaision when I asked her to please return them and she tried to come up with excuses as to why they had magically appeared in her room though. *laughs*
I've found an amazing comic by Bryan Lee O'Malley, called Lost at Sea. It's great - I love it very muchly. Seriously, if you have the chance to read it, do. I nearly cried at the end.
I need to get myself sorted on a music downloads site - the one I used to use shut down (damn you MSN!) and there are many epic pieces of music that I need to buy.
I'm going to get back into painting, drawing and the like. I've missed doing my art. I need a new sketchbook, and some new pencils, and some more paints, and some decent canvases, and a new fibre pen, and... Oh, HELL. This is going to turn out expensive. *wails*
