You know my thoughts and feelings on this situation.

Holding off an inevitable change because you're afraid to make a decision (or a "wrong one" as you like to say) is not a reason to stay somewhere. And as we discussed on the phone, nothing will ever be the same after you have such an extreme experience - but you take those life changes that you've made, you learn from them, and you apply them to your new life.

No one enjoys going home for the first time after they leave - go to my LJ calendar to Dec. 2004 and sure enough, you'll find a locked entry w/ me discussing how nervous I was returning after 6 months. But as you mentioned to me in IM, the people you're close with - they've been in touch with you. It will be different coming back from abroad - but no one is going to deny you or your part in their lives, especially since they never really left.

Also, a lot of new jobs come in the fall - you may want to be around for that. And haven't you been saving money since you've been getting paid and only responsible for buying groceries?

You have personally worn me out on this issue.
