(no subject)
So what's up with my friends page having like, one update after a whole week? I was thinking that this was really lame, and then I was like, well Katie, you can't really talk bc you update like once a month. So fine, I'm updating.
My friends went to the Costco in Daegu (about an hour train ride away) and got me some Cheezits!!!!! Sweet.
Anyway, last weekend, I went to this cool Full Moon Festival. I have no idea about the reasoning behind it, but there was a huge bonfire on the beach, and people were digging out holes in the sand and putting candles in them, and burning paper and letting it fly in the air, and throwing fruit into the water, and banging drums and chanting and stuff. It was very occultish and...cool. Wow, what a descriptive word. But really, it was one of the most interesting things I've seen since being in Korea, I was glad I went.
Teaching sucks these days. For awhile I liked my job, but now I hate it. I have two classes that are really hard on me and they drag me down for all the other ones. It sucks. I hope I can get rid of those classes, but I'm not counting on it. Oh well. Five more months. Then I have to figure out what comes next. I can't wait. I hope you could hear the sarcasm in that through my keyboard.
