At least now the Republican's can't say that Obama wasn't effective in the war on terror. So I guess that kills some of Donald Trump's buzz...? (Although nothing can deter that guy and his insanity. He'll always find flaws with Obama. SIGH.)

THE NDP IS NOW THE OFFICIAL OPPOSITION.

Okay, some jubilation on my part was called for, because history was just made. This is the first time the NDP has ever been the official opposition. The party that brought us universal health care, has finally gotten the respect it deserves.
Yes. And Jack Layton promised that there wouldn't be any negative consequences if BC got rid of the HST. So yay.
I'm watching his victory speech and he's TOTALLY thanking the youth vote. I feel so proud. ^________^ I helped get this guy's party be the opposition, I feel so proud~~~!!!! ^^
And yet, the Conservatives have a majority.
Well, it's ABOUT FREAKING TIME. Sheesh, Mr. Harper. Took you long enough. After, what? Two, three elections with a minority? I am disappoint. Well, I was disappoint. Now I'm just hoping he doesn't create too many tax hikes. Well, generally, Harper is a rather disagreeable fellow.
SIGH. Well, maybe Parliament will be able to pass more legislation this time...
And the Liberal Party has been severely decimated.
What was it? Approximately thirty-something seats or so. And Ignatieff didn't even get elected in his riding...
Sad, that. I kind of liked the guy. He was smart.
And the Green Party managed to get ONE person elected.
That person would be Elizabeth May. The party leader. So now she gets to participate in party debates now. Like, during the election, they wouldn't let her. LOLOL
I love how when you watch CBC, they don't even count her seat as the "Green Party", it's listed as "other".

The Bloc Quebecois has been virtually eliminated.
They have like, three seats.
