1. I COMPOSED A CLASSICAL-ISH PIECE WITH LOGIC 8.
WITH A PIANO PART.
AND I DON'T EVEN PLAY PIANO.
...
Rather, I can't read bass clef on the fly to save my life. Haha.
Thank God I'm a quasi-percussionist, otherwise I wouldn't have made it. LOL.
I'll post it on Youtube later, because I messed up on the dynamics automation somewhat, and the second violin is too loud at some parts.
But I feel really proud of myself.
Maybe I'm being pretentious, but I feel really proud of myself, and it was well-received when I played it during class. People were saying that they were getting chills <3
(By class, I mean my SWEAT class at Vancouver Art Institute. And I met a lot of awesome people there. Sacchan~~~~~ ^^)
And then I made a remix of Miku Miku ni Shite Ageru, but since I didn't bounce it, I can't access it at the moment.
2. I started reading a bunch of manga.
Oishii Kankei is SO SO SO SO SO GOOD. I have NO IDEA why I didn't start reading it earlier. It rocks :D
The characterization is incredibly strong, probably more strong than in any shojo manga I've ever read. Momoe goes through growth constantly, and even as the series progresses, she's still aware of her flaws, and OH. <3 I can't get over how much I love this series.
I'm also reading Usotsuki Lily, which is really lighthearted and interesting, haha. En is such a handsome woman. LOL
And then there's Kami-sama Hajimemashita, which I was reading ages ago (until the updates started lagging T_T) But now things have picked up, so I'm reading it again ^^ It's really good.
3. I FINALLY watched Casablanca.
It really annoys me how Rick got the short end of the stick. Ah, fate. Such a cruel, cruel thing.
But Rick really is a jerk at times. Although he gets better at the end of the movie.
I wonder, is Rick kind-of-sort-of an alcoholic? Hm.
But despite my complaining, I really enjoyed it. It was marvelous. Although I don't know why Ilsa needs all of those crazy hats when she's supposed to be on the run, LOL.
