Yay stuff!
Thoroughly enjoyed my doll meet yesterday. I knitted a headdress for one of my dolls to go with an outfit that I don't have hair accessories for. It turned out really cute. I also finished up the human size scarf I'd been knitting on for about the past month. After the meetup we went out and had dinner with onnas-baka-gaki & Rat at Genroku. I was stuck on a sushi kick this weekend and ended up just having a plate of tuna sushi rolls and some miso soup. It filled me up plenty and I'm thinking the price was affordable enough I might have to do that again (like on one of the Wednesday nights I'm home alone just drop by on the way home from work or something).
Work today superly zoomed by. Didn't help that we still did not get in enough work to fill the day and I left an hour early. I have to say the one thing about work. I really wish supervisors would stop asking me questions about things I don't know. I mean I guess that because I work with the stuff and they don't think I should know more about them than I do. I just always feel really bad when I get asked a question they hope I can answer and I just can't typically due to lack of information.
Got home from work, traffic wasn't too bad. Got a package with some more stuff I bought on egl_comm_sales, but OMG I have to stay away from there this week because I have no money that I can even pretend I'm able to spend...did a little too much eating and shopping this month. But I got my spider web bloomers that I wanted to go with one of my new skirts and they are really cool! I'm just sad that right now I don't have a top to go with that skirt.... Also got a super cute modded Metamorphose tote bag. The girl took off the straps and had converted it into a draw string back pack tote. She sent the straps and now I'm debating if maybe I want to make little bows with them and sew them over where she put the eyelets to run the drawstring cords. I figure it's already modded, why not add more and help the cuteness. I'm super happy to have it though because it will be super perfect for carrying around at A-kon. I remember a few years ago when I did Anime Matsuri, that I got a drawstring back pack tote as part of my con swag and that thing worked so perfectly for the con, but it's got ugly printing "super pass" on it, so this modded Meta one is so perfect since between cosplays I'll be in lolita.
That's all for now. Waiting for the husband to get home because he is LATE! I know right now he's doing mandatory over time for work, but I didn't figure he'd be putting in more than 2hrs today...
