Within the past two weeks, LG has become enamored of a track called Pata Pata on one of Putumayo Kids' discs. Put that song on the stereo and he dances vigorously! It's been about a week since I looked up the artist, Miriam Makeba.
Ms. Makeba has been an international music force in her own right for the past 50+ years, and first recorded Pata Pata in 1967. She passed away Sunday at age 76, following a concert in Italy.
