I could have very nearly had a marvellous 19yr old scoop for Mauve-Alert. 5 hours to go, not very popular - it was almost mine.
Some smegger came out of nowhere, wanted it, took it. In my book that's being a bit of a bastard. Look, if One Person has bidded and there's a few hours to go, let them bloody well have it, that's what I say.
No respect, some people.
And they paid £6.50 for a mag whose main selling point appeared to be Sigue Sigue Sputnik...sad or insane surely?
On a lighter note, and this is rare that I quote myself:
"I'd show you, but I've got no trousers on."
Yes, tonight I really did say that. Context - a wonderful thing when it's missing.
