Life On Mars was rather good last night, methinks. Wasn't sure whether to bother watching it - the more hyped something is, the less I want to see it. But, some dodgy cliches and (Basil) exposition aside, it was entertaining. With that WTF Twin Peaks-y spirit that I like (actually, came a bit close to something I'm currently writing, hate it when that happens!). Plus, it has John Simms who appears in 90% of Gritty Northern TV and who my Mum obviously has a secret crush on. Meanwhile, there's Philip Glenister to please the likes of me.
I can't help but feel our tastes are the wrong way round.
