Oh gosh, it seems like forever since I came back to LJ. Sorry if i didn't reply to any of your comments during the break. It's not that I ignored you. ^^; I've spent so much time chatting with my BFF during the break that I didn't have time to properly read the recent journals. Oh well, since she's going to be busy now, I'll have time to read and catch-up. Then again, with school just starting, I won't be able to comment much (not to mention there are already tests next week! THE HORROR. Yet I love my classes.)
I kind feel bad that I couldn't submit something for the Z/A or slayers challenge me and izo_chan hosted so long ago. However, I still might do them as just another batch of fanarts on my list. Before I forget, we should put an end to those two challenges, shouldn't we, Ruana? The participants should be given the judging that is due to them. XD Hopefully I'll have time to help setup the journals for judging before my tests next week. O_O
Now that the Slayers Secret Santa is over, I can finally post my gift! I made it for ceylmallyn, who wanted something related to the Kouma Sensou. That idea was particularlly interesting to me and I had lots of fun doing it! The characters are Dynast, Gaav, Phibrizzo, Zelas, and Dolphin. The Dynast I drew is not official, just my imagination. I based part of his outfit from an official picture drawn by Araizumi that shows only his silhouette. Pretty helpful isn't it? haha. Click for full-size!

Oh, and THANK YOU senstivinferno for giving me such a wonderful Z/A fanfic during the Slayers Secret Santa event. I really really enjoyed it and, as always, you have a talent for writing! Who knows, I just might draw something based on that fanfic, but I ain't telling when. XD
To izo_chan: since I didn't have time to reply to your comments (I feel so bad), I'll say it here. Your Phibby tribute might have to wait.....cos well I wana be mean. HAHA. nah, i'm kidding. I just need to find time and right now i'm working on a comic for a different series too. Gotta love variety.
One last random comment before I go, I was on a serious 2D animation hype during the break. I've watched Princess and the Frog, El Dorado, Treasure Planet, Prince of Egypt, Tarzan, The Great Mouse Detective, and Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas (Dreamworks should have done more work on the 2D instead of the 3D on this movie. The 3D was just awful and looked like a rushed job). So far, my very top favorite would have to go to Tarzan because: (1) baby Tarzan is the cutest Disney baby ever, (2) human-animal interaction is best animated in this movie, (3) soundtrack is amazing and is one of Phil Collins's best works, (4) there are two separate antagonists working against the protagonist, giving Tarzan some great character development.
Next on my list is: Hercules, Mulan, Aladdin, Emperor's New Groove, Flight of Dragons (as suggested by ichibanvictory)
Here's the first part of the movie which contains the discovery of adorable baby Tarzan by the ape Kala. I have to wonder if baby Tarzan is voiced by an actual baby or by someone with exceptional voice acting skills.
