Easter Show!
LOL~ Today, I went to the Sydney Royal Easter Show and it's held anually and goes on for about 2 weeks. XDDD
This year, I went with Fairen, Mandy, Janice, Sharon and her boyfriend and it was really fun xDD. When we got there, we wasted our money on those games that you pay heaps for to try and win these toys, and Mandy ended up getting this cute lil dragon plushie. And then we went to the equipment thing, and I started climbing that and we too heaps of piccies. There was this really cool thingo that spins you around and around when you got on it, Janice and I went on at the same time and get really dizzy because I didn't know how to stop that thing.
And then we walked on the Olympic Boulevard(sp?) where some of the show bags where, and bought this 'New Woman" bag for my piano teacher, and two "Trolli" bags one for me and the other for my brother. ]
Since I couldn't find the other show bags, we went to the Showbag hall, and I bought myself a "Girlfriend" bag, a "Your Style" bag for my mum, and a "Garfield Max' bag which my brother was bugging me about.
Then we went to the rides section. but Fairen and I didn't go on any because we were holding too much stuff and weren't bothered to waste our money on the expensive rides when we could go to Luna Park later and play for cheaper. xD
In the end, Fairen, Shaz, Jono and I just sat down on this grassy place and rested there for ages while the other two went on the rides and see the animals.
And half an hour later, I went with Fairen to the Woolworths Dome while Shaz and Jonothan went to the Showbag Hall. We saw this shop with these really pretty bracelets and Fairen really wanted one, so I decided to get her a really really early birthday present. The one she chose was this one with pretty moons and stars...now that's on less gift I have to buy for the 'end-of-august" people. xDD
We then walked around to the food booths...and I sampled some yoghurt and these chilly sauces...which got kinda hot so I sampled some Nesquik milk in the booth next to it....xDDD I have a feeling that's why the Nesquik stall was there...
At around 5, Fairen and I got all tired so we decided to save seats for the fireworks, so we went into the Main Arena to find it almost full already, so we went to the top of one of the left stands...
Around 5:30, everyone else arrived, and the stadium was pretty much full by then...@__@
We ended up watching some horse and carriage thing, polo, wood cutting finals, "The Drover's Wife", another horse thing, this Holden V8 Super Car demo, and this Motocycle Freestyler thing before the fireworks. And if we were bored we just read some of my "Girlfriend" magazines...and it really disturbed me how Jonothan was reading them too. xDD
Anyways, around 9, the fireworks finally started. ^__^ It was pretty cool and I found it funny how the fireworks drowned out the song Anthony Callea was singing on the radio in the background....^__^;;;
After the fireworks, I took the bus home and now I'm really tired..but lucky for me daylight saving ends tonight! xDDD yayness for an extra hour of sleep. <333
