japantown, late nights, ikea, +more
RECAP: PART I! (possibly 3-4 parts, with lots of pics! mainly of food lol) Don't worry, I won't post all parts at once, of course~ just, back-to-back days instead :D
Part I = 3 & 2 weeks ago = last week of Aug./first 2 weeks of Sept.
From my last large pics post, I said that I was just hired at Panera Bread and was going to work Thurs-Mon(Labor Day Weekend). I did not. Soooo. I worked Thurs, skipped Fri-Sat, and worked Sun-Wed instead.... long days (but not so long either since I didn't work that long hours haha). But before that!!!
Mon+Tues(Aug 29/30) consisted of going to different Targets and getting polos from the the boys section, super cheap V^__________^V. Wed = In N' Out + Starbucks w/ Alvin to celebrate my first job. & then Thurs = 1st day of work (9AM-1PM); ALOT of time this day consisted of being on the computer learning the basics/history...boring~ & after = the pic-taking begins.... lol.
- (thurs) After work, I picked up my cousin from school around 3 and headed to Japantown in Downtown SJ bcos it was part of our Summer Bucket/Adventure List (it's mainly food places haha). Ate at Kumako Ramen. Their ramen was yummy but the ladles were hard to eat with! After, walked around Japantown for a bit to walk off our fat tummies; I saw a pug and literally ran toward it with a fat smile on my face (I think I squealed a bit too lulz). The owner gave me a funny look but still allowed me to pet him; love me some pugs<333 Stopped by the Jap market to buy candy haha then headed to Banana Crepe for my long-awaited Strawberry-Nutella-Vanilla Ice Cream Crepe!!! NOMMMMSSSSSSS. It doesn't look like much, but it's delish!!!!
- We then headed to Fantasia for our weekly milkteas (we're regulars now; the lady that works there knows us! kekekkekeeke) Stopped by Gmall to do a little "pre"shopping = pick & choose what I want so I could buy it when I get paid lolol. & yes, I just HAD TO take a pic with another Beaver cutout<3 in Toys R Us no less hahah. Went home, had Jersey Shore night.
- Had a late night dinner Fri with some friends @ a Pho place (they called me at 1AM... I was hungry -__- lol). Decided not to go bowling (it wasn't opened) so went to Alvin's house instead and chilled for an hour or two. If you can't tell, there's a person under all of those things...she was sleeping too! lololol. Stephanie's such a deep sleeper that she didn't feel a thing! And we even threw ping pong balls at her head hahahaha.
- Sat = out with Bro + dad. I had to buy non-slip shoes for work so went to Wal Mart and found these! Look closely and tell me what you see lollll. Funny story: When I first saw these I didn't notice the "Helen" until I took a second glance. I told my bro too and he said we were meant to be so I just HAD TO buy them haha. When I got home tho, I looked at the box again and saw "est. 1992"... freaky thing is, that's my birth year!!!!! I told my bro again and he said the same thing. Later on that night tho, after he comes back from the gym, he tells me, "SO I was thinking. You know how the shoes are named Helen and est. in 1992? Well, what if there was another world and YOU were the ones who made the shoes. Like, what if you knew you were going to work in a restaurant place in another world and so you made these shoes just for you. Like, you made them bcos you knew you'll need them in this world." All I said back to him was, "YOU'RE HELLA DUMB!" Sometimes, my brother.... IDEK. LOLOLOLOL. But wouldn't his little "theory" be so interesting if it was true? haha.
- Two flies I noticed on my mom's car being all lovey-dovey hehehe. I swear, they were like that, literally, forever!!!
Sun-Wed, as said = WORK.WORK.WORK. I think I went out to run errands here and there but I stayed home pretty much those days. But after that! I had the weekend off, so I celebrate, hehe!
- IKEA DAY!!!!!<3(Sept8) Another item on Victor & I's bucket list! I just love everything about IKEA; the way they decorate the many rooms to their items! beds, cabinets, tables, chairs, everything!! to their food! holy mother, their meatballs are BOMB! Super cheap too! Alla that food for <$10! & you gta love that they were showing HP on one of their TVs ^___^
- After IKEA, since we were in the area, we decided to head to Stanford shopping center to grab some cupcakes and look around. We got lost along the way a few times, but they don't call me GPS/Google for no reason (my friends actually call me that..... lol). I gotta say, downtown Palo Alto is so lovely<3 Next time, we're going there to spend the day! pics = they were having some kind of market that day? and a guy playing the violin was so good! He played a lot of beyonce's song tho haha & I would sit on the dog statue keke.
- Sprinkles! I don't necessarily think it's the best cupcakes out there, but I always get it when I'm at Stanford (which isn't much, which is why I always get it lol). This was only my 3rd time tho & I only get their red velvet! On the way home, stopped by Fantasia (OF COURSE!). Then ended the day with Jersey Shore night (OF COURSE!).
- Forgot what I did Friday (went with dad+bro to eat?) But Saturday, had dinner with Victor at Pepper Lunch after we went Great Mall (yes, again - this time looking for dresses for the wedding!) I loves me Pepper Lunch<3 the first time we ate there was a check off our Summer bucket list haha.
