Heyyy wow I totally havent used this thing in months!!! I have to get back into the swing of things...
Updating the journal:
After years of really (really really) close friendship with my best buddie, he asked me out on August 20th, 12am to be exact. Wooo mama!! It went a little something like this:
(Scene: Sitting in Vito's truck in my driveway after seeing 40-Year-Old Virgin)
Vito: Hey Nickie.
Nickie: Yea Vito.
Vito: I'm leaving Monday.
Nickie: Yeah what are we going to do?
Vito: Do you have your class ring with you?
Nickie: It's in my room, I'll go get it.
(Nickie takes a trip up to her bedroom and brings back her class ring).
Vito: Let's trade.
(Nickie and Vito trade class rings, both realize neither rings fits the other person).
Vito: Will you be my girlfriend?
Nickie: ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR YOU TO ASK ME THIS FOREVER!!
(Nickie kisses Vito)
Vito: We have to promise to tell each other everything... EVERYTHING... no secrets. If you feel uncomfortable about anything you have to tell me Nickie, ok?
Nickie: Ok Vito.
Vito: Ok.
(I get pinned up onto my car and the rest can be left for your imagination).

I MISS HIM LIKE CRAAZZY!!!!! I sent him a package the other day. It's just a small one of a letter I wrote and two framed photos of he and I. He loves Lafayette College. He's having such a great time up there which is awesome, I'm happy for him.
On a slightly different note, I've been spending my entire summer hanging out with Dawn, Erin, PattyG, Lisa, Daria, Bill, and of course Vito. Me, Erin, Vito, Daria and Justin Stroker were in West Side Story, which turned out to be a great show. I'm so proud of Erin, she conducted the pit orchestra, Vito and I played our instruments, and Daria was Anita and Justin was Bernardo in the play. It was so much fun, and we put in soo much of our time making the show come together. Oh man the baritone player was freeeaakking weiirrddd!! His name was Chris and was cross eyed. Seriously, when he talked to you, you didn't know which eye to look in. He always forgot my name. Like every 20 minutes hed turn to me and say, "Nickie, right?" He's quite an individual.
Hm well I went to Montauk with the family for a week and oddly the family next to mine at the beach was the DeGeatanos. OMG I met Colin Quinn at thge beach too!! (If you don't know who that is, he was on Saturday Night Live, had his own show called Tough Crowed with Colin Quinn, and yeah he's all over Comedy Central). It was so awesome. He and I were talking about college and Saturday Night Live. Good Stuff.
Well there is TONS more to update. I have to make a phone call and go to work. =) Have a dandy dandy day! <3
