So this is kind of cheating since i did almost all of this weeks ago, but the ting I started today is turning out to be waaaaayyyy more time consuming than I anticipated, so. Here's that Northern Water Tribe Padmé I mentioned from.... *searches for post* ...whoops, did I not ever upload the Avatar!verse Anakin here? Um. Sorry.

I recently ran across someone talking about the idea of an Avatar/Star Wars fusion here and all I could think was YES. Best idea EVER.
Because, I mean, no matter what else you do, you’re gonna make Anakin the Avatar. That’s pretty much given. And no matter what you do from there, you know what you have? You have a story about an Avatar who went bad. How epic would that be?
So now I’m playing with this in my head. Which nation would he be from? They said Fire Nation, which makes plenty of sense, but I feel like you could make a case for the other three too.
Fire is the element of power, and Anakin has en explosive temper, and also yellow eyes at certain points in his life. But Earth is about stability, and that resonates too. With water you have blue eyes, and a focus on family, and also blue eyes.
I’m leaning toward Air though, the more I think about it. For one thing, element of freedom has a nice ironic ring for someone born in slavery, and also the flying with him being a pilot. Mostly though I feel like it helps the potential plot along-because Luke can’t inherit being the Avatar like he could super force powers, but he could inherit airbending and be the Last Airbender and still be special that way, and then they find out Leia can airbend too but just sort of learned to repress it or something.

In other news: blah flat colors, but I actually kind of like that aesthetic better in some ways?
