(no subject)
Okay, so I just got home from my first day in shop, and I have to say that I love shop! My events consisted of painting the stage black, and help make 20 pedestals. Tools used: Circular Saw, Table Saw, Paint Brush, Pressurized Staple Gun. < ^ ^ > Man using power tools are fun. I'm really really dirty from cutting an ass load of wood, but I mush say that I had a lot of fun working in the shop. I really felt like I was being productive, and the fact that we made 20 pedestals out of a bunch of wood is just cool. I want to go build a set now! I'm free for the weekend as far as not going in to the shop, so I'm sure I can use the time to try and find a roommate, or do some school work, or clean up all my stuff around the apartment.
After about an hour in shop I really started to get comfortable with what to do and such. I'm just glad that I could help out Eric. There was a lot of stuff to do, and we actually finished getting most of it done by the end of the day. Other than that I have work in a few hours, so I need to finish up my laundry and get some more sleep before I have to get up and get ready.
Molly is going out to CA to look at an apartment so I think I will have the place to myself. Mom and Mitch are on their way up to Alaska, and I haven't heard from them since I think last Monday? I hope they are doing well. I haven't been able to play World of Warcraft in a couple days, so I'm sure I have a lot of catching up to do... Maybe I can squeeze in some time this weekend, who know for sure though.
