oh vancouver. :( i love you the most. you are my city, and i could not imagine living anywhere else.

but when shit goes down, i turn from being proud at how classy fans were, cheering on their team
for the amazing season and chanting after the game ended, to being so, so ashasmed and disappointed.

maybe a small riot. but looting, setting cars, stores and jerseys, on fire? pushing a bruins fan off an overpass.
deaths, and injuries. is this really what our city is like? i'm just so diappointed.

you're not a real fan, if you can so easily turn against your team. you're not a real vancourite
if all you want to do after a heartbreaking loss is set your jersey on fire and loot department stores
and trash our beautiful, beautiful city. you're just making everyone look like a fool, and shitting
on everything canada and canadians stand for. nice, polite, kind? we're barbaric right now.

the idiotic comments bashing those rioters who deserve to die, etc. are imo no better.

i can only be comforted by the people who are planning to clean up downtown,
and those who are planning to help those who have been hurt by the riots.
