So, I don't know a lot about where to get clothes; hence, my clothes all come from the same place. So when NPR mentioned that there was a Top Shop opening in NYC and it was a huge event, blah, blah, I thought I would take a look at their web site. ew yuk. that is some serious fail right there. I would laugh so hard at the angry kool aid man shirt if I saw it. I think it will be a lot like "OH YEAH!!!!! OH NO!!!! BAHAHAAHAHAHAHAH!!"

Yeah, that's pretty gross.

I used to looove Topshop but they have always had a few really scary pieces mixed in their assortment. Unfortunately, with the whole French Raver trend (ie. what every kid under the age of 23 is desperately trying to emulate right now, it's even worse. If you want to see something you'll really hate, check out the people Topshop is knocking off - Bernhard Willhelm and Henrik Vibskov.

Yeah. I mean, in a strange way I respect those designers even if it's not even remotely my style. It IS nice to see a lots of color out there and it's just so goofy and child-like...I really like that they don't take fashion seriously. That said, I would looke absolutely stupid in it.

yeah i pissed man, i was excited about them coming over here, and then everything went to shit in their lines. They need to get Moss back on loads of coke, throwing angry punk influenced architectural designs in their direction again.

It's ok though, i found the best fucking store on earth in England. Now, if I could just afford ANYTHING on their site.

This is why i've always liked Canadian streetwear designers. Not always cheap but awesome designs. I love ordering from Mudshark (www.mudsharkstreetwear.com/). And that Allsaints store is great.
