This is hilarious...
Ever since I transferred to my new company, I had started working with a person named "Ohno Satoshi"... from the Japan branch (lol) for database translation from Japanese to English (he translates, I check for cohesiveness and upload to the system). I never knew how common Oh-chan's name is.
This guy is sooo timid, I feel like a dominatrix everytime I had to talk to him. He does his job well, but when I had to tell him off, you know, it feels like I'm scolding a poor baby. Maybe it's in the way he types his emails, or his profile picture in Outlook. Or even his name. I don't know.
But anyway, my working stint with him has ended (and it was hilarious because he sent me an untranslated Japanese email (I don't even know if he's being passive-aggressive or something). It was kinda fun working with him... (and I did ask him, "Ah, I think there's a Japanese actor with the same name as yours?" - he chuckled damnit!) and I hope he learned a lot from me as I learned not so much from him.
Kinda looking forward to meeting him if ever I get lost in our Japan office lol.

not really arashi-related but working with his namesake really is awkward.
