Yamada talks about what he thinks or feels towards each of the songs that were released
in his solo debut CD. And an interesting fact about the main song's title is revealed x)

Check it out if you'd like ♥

About "Mystery Virgin":
The truth is, the original title for my debut song was going to be just “Mystery”.
But that alone was boring. When other people would look at the title, they’d go “Hm?”.
So we decided to add “Virgin” to it. It wasn’t because we just looked at the alphabet, but more to add my own trait.
Because Japanese people want to use familiar words as much as possible. It plays from the beginning as the theme song for “Kindaichi Shounen no Jikenbo” and Hajime solves each of the riddles in the plot!
It makes you want to see the world from a different view, but if you try singing the song, it has surprising lyrics and they’ll bring up an honest expression from girls or so I realized.

But really, everything about this CD was my idea. For example, I picked the outfits I’d wear for the music tv shows all the way from what materials to use for it and its appearance. I thought of it all myself. Through that, I showed the silhouette I like in tops. For the CD jacket as well, from the young boy-like photos to the adult-like photos. The age of 19 is still close to being in high school and I’m not 20 yet. I demonstrated my current delicate age ne.

About “Asia no Yoru”:
“Speaking of Yamada Ryosuke, there’s ‘Asia no Yoru’” are the thoughts I received. It’s my representative song that I wanted to work on. That’s right, for this song, I had so many thoughts like, “why does my solo give off a sexy kind-of-feeling?” I wonder why (laughs)

About “Moonlight”:
Around the time of our debut, this was one of the songs I’d sing in concerts. From the beginning, a long long time ago in “The Shounen Club” it was a song I wanted to show and see the reactions and influences it would make. Now, because this song was long waited for, I decided to put it in the CD.

About “Ai no Katamari”:
This is the one song from Kinki Kids that I have always wanted to sing. Because of the special feelings that song carries, I have always wanted to try singing it at least once in our concerts or on TV. Ever since I’ve been their fan, I’ve thought of the maturity that’s in this song and also what if I got to sing it, there might be people who’d think about the complex feelings within. In that situation, if I had everyone’s warm glances watch over me, I’d feel happy receiving those honest feelings. Because I also really love this song, I hope from the bottom of my heart that my wish to sing it will come true.

About “Gin no Sekai ni Negai wo Komete”:
When we were still working on this song and I got to hear it for the first time, only the sound of piano accompanied it. But because it was winter, and to give it that feel, we added a soprano saxophone and the sound of wind chimes. Anyway, this song was the one song I was really focused on when it came to the sound.
